What does Leash & Beyond K9 Solutions do differently than other dog training companies?
We train your dog to work for you, but also teach you how to work your dog! Our knowledge and experience is "real world" experience that we teach you to be successful.
What is your training methodology?
We truly train the dog without masking the issues behind treats and tools. There is time for tools and food but they should never become a dependency.
Are all consultations free?
Yes! We believe in what we offer and our results that we don't see the need to charge you to have your dog evaluated and we also do all consults in person because you can't evaluate a dog over the phone.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We offer 10% discount to active military, military veterans, and active/retired law enforcement. We also offer discounts for multiple dogs in a household.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit cards, debit cards, Zelle, check, and NOW partnered with Affirm, giving you the flexibility to pay at your own pace. We have a NO REFUNDABLE POLICY via contract for every training program.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we accept half of the payment at booking and then the second half is due the day of the first session and or day of pick up for the Board & Train. We NOW offer Affirm as a payment plan option. We have a NO REFUNDABLE POLICY via contract for every training program.
What is your cancellation policy?
*Cancellation of a training session MUST be done 2 days prior to your training session. The session is not lost and will be moved to the back end of your training sessions.
*If you cancel 3 or more training sessions your contract of training will be terminated.
*NO refunds if cancelled at anytime.
*Rescheduling is free anytime, but has to be done 2 days prior to our training session.
Which types of dogs does Leash & Beyond K9 Solutions train?
We train all breeds, all ages, and train all behavioral issues. There is no dog that we can't train.
Do you train all breeds and welcome "aggressive dogs" ?
Yes! ALL DOGS MATTER.
How old must my dog be to start training? Is any dog too old to train?
We will start training as soon as 8 weeks old. No dog is too old to train.
What is the minimum age to be able to train as a handler to my dog?
Our minimum age will be 6 years old, but however it will be a case by case scenario.
Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered?
No.
Does my dog need his/her vaccinations?
Yes! You're dog needs to be up to date on their shots that they're old enough to have. Distemper, Lepto, Parvo, Rabbies and Bortetella are required.
Do you use E-Collars to train?
98% of dogs do not need E-Collars. We generally never use them for our training.
What should I bring to sessions and or group sessions for my dog and me?
You will need rewards, leash, collar, water bowl, water, poo bags.
Where are your private one on one sessions held?
Private one on one sessions will be held at your home and as well at various public settings (stores, parks, malls etc.).
How will we know if you a group session is cancelled?
All group sessions and changes will be posted on the "TimeTree Calendar" App.
Can you help us decide on a dog to purchase or adopt?
Yes! We enjoy helping clients pick the right dog for them, sometimes having a opinion about dogs behaviors and what they're bred for helps a lot when making a decision on a lifetime commitment.
Does my dog have to be house broken and crate trained for a Board & Train?
It is recommended that your dog is crate trained and house trained prior to coming for a board & train. When dogs already have this foundation we can focus on training your dog instead using that time to house break them.
What is required to enroll in Basic Obedience Training ?
A dog and the willingness to learn!
What is required to enroll is Advanced Obedience Training?
A strong foundation of basic obedience.
What are the additional requirements to enroll in Personal Protection Training?
Depending on the current level of the dog, prerequisite training may be required to get the dog to the level that they need to be at in order start the personal protection training.
What are the additional requirements to enroll in Service Dog or Service Therapy Training?
Depending on the current level of the dog, prerequisite training may be required to get the dog to the level that they need to be at in order start the service dog or service therapy training.
Is LBK9 Solutions insured and bonded?
Yes! We are insured and bonded through Pet Care Insurance company.
